Maddie Wolff completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts with a focus in Printmaking in May 2019. In Fall of 2018, she was awarded the Undergrad Research Assistant Scholarship to investigate new printmaking technologies. Maddie is an active member of the Prairie Fire Printmakers club where she holds the title of Treasurer and Exhibition Coordinator. She is the Shop Technician for the Printmaking Department at Kansas State University. Maddie is a member of the Southern Graphics Council International where she has presented her research on electro-chemical etching, a new innovation in printmaking.

Maddie’s prints use a variety of techniques which consist primarily of etchings created from copper plates and screen prints. Using bright colors with many layers and overlap, she manipulates old family photographs from her childhood to explore and illustrate how the mind manipulates memories.
